Zonta Club Prague Bohemia, founded in the year 1991, has at present 28 members of different professions: physicians (specialist in endocrinoly, nephrology and otorinolaryngology), business women, translators, language-teachers, nurses, research worker in clinical biochemist, lawyers, headmasters, university professors (mathematics and philosophy), librarian, officials and civil engineer. An honorary member is a world known figure skater.
Zonta Clubs are organized according to the rules of Zonta International, whose headquarters are in Chicago, USA and are grouped in areas and districts. The members of the Club elect their president and the board of the Club, whose term is two years. The presidents of our club were: Helena Zidkova (1991 - 1993), Magdalena Kantova (1993 - 1995), Klara Nevosadova (1995 - 1997), Jirina Hilgertova (1997 - 1999), Jana Vlasakova (1999 - 2001), Tatana Sramova (2001 - 2002), Jana Blovska (2002 - 2005), Miluska Vrzackova (2006-2008), Libuse Kernerova (2008-2010) and Tatana Sramova (2010-2012).

Meetings of our Club take place every last Thursday of the month.

Since the beginning of its existence the Club has had a friendly contact with ZC Reutlingen-Tübingen from Germany. We regularly organize reciprocal visits with cultural and tourist programs. With ZC Reutlingen - visiting Kutná Hora.
